We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities & Tenant Services Supervisor to manage and oversee the daily operations of our cleaning and maintenance teams. This role is crucial for ensuring that our properties remain clean, well-maintained, and welcoming, while also fostering positive relationships with tenants. As the Facilities & Tenant Services Supervisor, you will play a vital role in staff management, quality control, tenant communications, and ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met across the property.

- Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
- Location: On-site, multiple properties
- Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year
- Bonus: Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus

Team Supervision & Staff Development:
- Manage and supervise the janitorial and maintenance staff, ensuring they are trained to meet industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and provide ongoing feedback to staff to maintain high cleanliness and safety standards.
- Monitor staff attendance, handle staffing vacancies, and participate in the interview process for new hires.
- Train and ensure all team members are compliant with safety protocols, including OSHA standards.
- Provide coaching and handle disciplinary actions when necessary, including written warnings or suspensions.
- Coordinate with Payroll Administrators to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants by addressing their inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with tenants, both physically and electronically, keeping them informed about building operations and any updates or changes.
- Be on-call 24/7 for emergency situations such as floods, fires, or severe weather, including snow removal when necessary.
- Oversee the daily operations and ensure maintenance and cleaning standards are consistently met.
- Regularly inspect public spaces and tenant areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance needs are addressed.
- Handle emergency situations and adjust team schedules as needed (e.g., shift changes for snow removal, emergency repairs).
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth day-to-day management of multiple buildings.
- Maintain accurate records for staffing, attendance logs, and timekeeping.
- ???????Prepare proposals for new services and assist in business planning for newly acquired properties.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections and provide recommendations for improvements to senior management.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cleaning or facilities management. Experience in hospitality, hotels, hospitals, or similar environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with union operations, particularly 32BJ, is preferred.
- Proven experience managing teams and handling staff issues, including coaching, progressive discipline, and ensuring accountability.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage various operations.
- ???????Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with staff and tenants professionally and effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Familiarity with eTime and ADP is a plus.
- Ability to walk between multiple floors and buildings to monitor staff and address tenant needs.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods (up to 6 hours) and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, from temperatures as low as 0°F to over 100°F.
- Monday to Friday (with hours varying based on AM or PM shifts)
- AM Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (primarily focused on maintenance)
- PM Shift: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM (focused on cleaning and preparing spaces for the next business day)
- On-call/Weekend Requirements: You will be on-call for emergencies (floods, fires, snow removal, etc.), with potential for on-site presence during weekends or holiday periods (November – January). On-call does not necessarily require being on-site unless there is an emergency. Weekend on-site shifts typically last 4 hours when needed.???????
