Our client is looking to fill the role CAD/Print/Pattern Designer role at a great women's preppy apparel company. Company is located in Kenilworth, NJ but it is commutable from NYC with public transportation. You will be working on cad/print design work on one of their apparel brand sold to department stores, speciality stores and off price channels. Women's wovens and knits.

- Salary approximately $95K plus based on experience
- We are seeking a motivated team player who can also work with a high degree of autonomy and manage the print/pattern design work which is a large part of the brand DNA.
- This individual must be task oriented with a strong ability to be flexible with shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to create original artwork, color stories, trends.
- Strong command of; cleaning original studio purchased prints, putting prints into repeat, color positions reducing (producible amount of screens for mkt)
- Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
- Strong abilities in; print recoloring / pitching color standards/ color matching and accurate printed CAD art for product presentations is critical.
- Excellent command of s/off comments all-encompassing through to approval of final s/offs for production ready, including; technique, scale, placement , color matching, overall engraving for wet and digital/sublimation printing
- Ability to track s/off phases of development according to a set timeline/ calendar
- Maintain CAD library / files with intensive copyright rules and protocols
- 5 plus years of experience as a cad/print/pattern designer
- Textile designer experience works as well
- Must be a collaborative/ team player- who can work independently
- Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
- Creating and designing prints and patterns for womens apparel-
- Ability to set goals and prioritize tasks on an ongoing basis based on overall calendar and related tasks in a fast paced environment
