Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab Travel Assignment | Morristown, NJ

Hours per Week: 36 hours
Pay Rate: $80-83/hr
Position Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking experienced Cath Lab Travel Registered Nurses (RNs) to join the dynamic team at Morristown Medical Center. This role involves providing high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments across all age groups (Pediatric to Geriatric).
- Deliver direct and competent nursing care in the Cath Lab and Operating Room setting.
- Demonstrate proficient use of emergency equipment and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and the National Patient Safety Goals.
- Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery expectations, and post-procedure care.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care and outcomes.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality consistent with HIPAA standards.
- Participate in pre-admission testing (PAT), evaluating orders for appropriateness and completeness.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent critical care or Cath Lab RN experience required.
- Licensure: Active RN License (New Jersey or Compact State).
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist in patient transfers for extended periods.
- Must meet Occupational Safety and OMS physical requirements.
