- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work flexible work schedules that include holidays and weekends
- Ability to obtain and maintain current, valid state-required licenses and or certifications such as Food Handler's Certificate and Sips and Tips
- Capable of standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Provide warm, professional, and prompt service to all guests
- Set up and break down banquet spaces according to event specifications
- Serve meals in various formats including plated, buffet, and hand-passed appetizers
- Deliver table wine service and monitor guest needs throughout the event
- Maintain clean, organized service areas and ensure an exceptional dining atmosphere
- Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations with every interaction
- Set up the restaurant for food service, set tables with linens, silverware, and stemware, set buffets and action stations
- Create a comfortable atmosphere for our dining guests
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth service
- Close, clean, and reset the banquet venue
