Professional Services at Solifi is a customer-facing team responsible for the implementation of the Solifi solutions and providing consulting services for our clients. They are seen as the experts on our solutions and the industries they serve. They provide value to our clients by efficiently and effectively completing software implementations and providing expertise on the use of the software.
About the Position Senior Application Consultants combine out of the box Solifi applications with client specific configuration, integrations and enhancements to provide a complete working solution for the client to test and take live. The work as a consulting team member or occasionally as an individual consultant on for-fee product implementation, enhancement, integration, conversion, business process enhancement or training projects. Participate in all phases of software implementation; requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, launch, and post go-live support. Conduct customer business analysis to map internal processes and areas for improvement which support Solifi solution recommendations and ensure successful implementations. Perform technical implementation tasks to deliver solutions that align with the overall design. Work with more senior consultants and clients to resolve business requirements and system capability issues

Role and Responsibilities
- Use judgement to determine customer solution and mitigate risks.
- Produce accurate estimates for Professional Service opportunities.
- Provide content for Statements of Work.
- Make decisions about complex requirements and problems.
- Contribute to the improvement of Solifi implementation methods and processes.
- Define and document customer business functions and processes.
- Consult with customers to map their business needs, current processes and operational procedures to Solifi products and identify any gaps.
- Assist customers in harmonizing processes to Solifi products through configuration and process change.
- Develop requirements according to standard guidelines and identify common features for inclusion in product applications. Communicate with technical consulting team on customer business requirements enabling the development of a detailed and customized technical design.
- Consults with more senior consultants to maximize implementation of the solution.
- Configuration of base solution to meet customer requirements.
- Validate customer solution through build verification testing.
- Support customers in their testing through training, advising on test planning, triaging tickets, management of ticketing logs, explaining system use and changing configurations as appropriate.
- Where required, provide clarity and explanation where issues reported by the client are not defects.
- Support for go live and hyper care activities which may require extended hours and out of hours working.
- Provide input to Solifi Training Services to improve and tailor training materials for customers.
- Deliver appropriate training to customer staff to enable them to make implementation decisions and conduct testing.
- Planning, execution and testing of data migration using Solifi tools as appropriate.
- Support customers in testing migration of data and resolving issues.
- Consult with customers on mapping of integrations.
- Support the release and deployment activities during projects through validating release, testing integrations and preparation of project specific release notes.
- Accurate and timely time recording for all activities and escalation when time codes are not provided for work allocated.
- Ensure targeted project deliverables, including configuration of functional solutions, development of test strategies, plans and risk assessments meet project deadlines.
- Take all reasonable steps to achieve your individual utilization target as agreed with management.
- Using standard Solifi tools and work in accordance with Solifi methods and processes.
- Participate in project planning and estimating.
- Develop knowledge of broader product set and ability to work across solutions.
- Participate in project test phases, launch, and post go-live support.
- Provide task status and updates to the Project Manager.
Required Qualifications:
- Expert in Asset Based Lending with the ability over time to add other areas of expertise.
- Broader understanding of multiple product areas.
- Knowledge of how to add value to customers business.
- Responsible and able to manage to deadlines.
- Manage conflicting priorities and challenging deadlines.
- Experience with a background in Asset Finance or within the Finance industry would be beneficial, in lieu of finance industry experience, we would be looking for someone who has experience working on structured IT projects or professional services engagements.
- Produce clear and concise documentation including use of process/flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, data mapping.
- Able to produce clear and accurate status updates.
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple activities.
- Ability to build relationships quickly with clients and have clear communication.
- Strong test planning and analytical skills.
- Passion for accuracy and an eye for detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication techniques.
- Curious about customer business problems and technology solutions.
- Knowledge in SDLC methodologies, waterfall and agile.
- Understanding of Finance and Accounting concepts.
- Knowledge of SQL, XML, reading logs, JIRA, Confluence.
- Knowledge of database structures. Knowledge of web service framework.
