SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer with a strong foundation in web application development and a desire to grow technical skills in a mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and contribute to enterprise applications built on Microsoft technologies and hosted in secure, cloud-based environments. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with senior developers and architects in an Agile development team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of web applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support integration of structured and unstructured data into enterprise applications.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Contribute to system documentation and technical support activities.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- CompTIA Security certification.
- Secret clearance or higher.
- Up to 2–4 years of experience in software development (internships and project experience considered).
- Basic proficiency in: C#, ASP/.NET, SQL Server, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, AJAX, HTML/DHTML, C
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure PaaS and tools like Azure DevOps.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Exposure to Dynamics 365 and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with data visualization or integration of structured/unstructured data.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
