Solidus is hiring a Software Engineer for an onsite role based in Aurora, CO.
Day In The Life
- Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for cutting-edge satellite ground systems
- Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment
- A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice software design
- Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques
- Software lifecycle practices for large-scale defense projects
- Satellite ground system technologies including command & telemetry, flight dynamics, planning and scheduling, and spacecraft operations
- US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance
- Willingness to undergo comprehensive background investigation and pass a polygraph exam.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- 8 years of relevant software engineering experience
- Experience developing object-oriented software using Java and C
- Developing software in a Linux environment
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket
- Experience developing software on the M2C2 or Rushmore program
- Cultural fit amongst a collaborative team environment
- Software development lifecycle experience using the SAFe Agile methodology
- Experience developing software using Python
- Experience with AMMP, Cucumber, GIT, Khaos (M2C2 FD), Kubernetes, Oracle, Postgres, SonarQube, Weblogic, WIGS/Angular
- Experience with cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and CI/CD processes
- Experience working with full stack development
