Systems Engineer-TS/SCI Clearance

This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance. Candidates who do not hold this clearance are not eligible for hire.

Solidus is hiring a Systems Engineer. On this team, we integrate, verify, and validate our products and your knowledge with regards developing plans and procedures, debugging and evaluating system functions and interfaces, developing test environments, and working hand-in-hand with our integration teams and customers will be put to good use.

This is an onsite role based in Aurora, CO.

Day In The Life

• In this role, you will work with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions.
• Conduct integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train (ART) team
• Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and collaborate with fellow engineers to drive solutions to closure
• Development of automated test scripts and their execution
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues
• Work in an Agile program environment
  
  

Clearance Requirements

• US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance
• Willingness to undergo comprehensive background investigation and pass a polygraph exam
  
  

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• 2 years prior relevant experience
• Experience with systems integration and test for a software product, in an Agile, including regression testing, test scripting, and/or test automation tools
• Experience with hands-on Integration and Test engineering
• Troubleshooting and debugging a software-based system or product
• Experience with Linux Red Hat, Python, or Perl
• Cultural fit amongst a collaborative team environment
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a CI/CD environment
• Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment
• Development experience in project domain (e.g., mission management ground systems, space-based ISR platforms)
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Experience in Test Automation (Cucumber, Gherkin, Zypher)
• Experience with Java, C , Python, Linux operating system, Cloud environments
• Good oral and written communication skills as well as good collaboration skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  
  

Benefit selection, customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies, certifications, and clearance status will influence the final salary.

Full benefits: $84,000 to $105,000 annually

Reduced benefits (no medical, dental, vision): Up to $113,000 annually
