What are the responsibilities and job description for the Steel Grinding/Polishing position at Solid Steel Manufacturing?
Solid Steel Manufacturing is a rack supplier for the automotive industry.
Duties as a Grinder:
- Using a powered hand grinder to polish welds and spatter, and smooth out sharp corners on metal racks
- You will be positioned at the end of the assembly line, being the last to handle the racks before they go to wash and paint
- Being efficient and maintaining quality is the goal
- Company provides all PPE except for steel-toed boots
