Position Overview 

We're looking for a highly organized, creative, and proactive Social Media Manager & Content Creator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day social media presence for a portfolio of restaurant, hospitality, and lifestyle brands. Approximately 80% of the position focuses on social media management, including content planning, copywriting, scheduling, video editing, community management, and client communication, while the remaining 20% is dedicated to capturing photo and video content at client locations. The ideal  candidate thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, has exceptional attention to detail, and can confidently manage multiple brands and deadlines simultaneously.


Responsibilities: 


Social Media Management (80%)

Content Calendars & Social Planning 

  • Build, review, and approve monthly content calendars across all assigned client accounts.
  • Write engaging, on-brand captions tailored to each client and platform.
  • Design static posts, carousels, and promotional graphics using Canva.
  • Ensure content aligns with upcoming promotions, holidays, events, and marketing initiatives.
  • Schedule posts, promotions, event flyers, and requested content through Loomly.
  • Review scheduled content for accuracy, brand consistency, and proper formatting prior to publishing.
  • Ensure all scheduled posts publish successfully.
  • Monitor Loomly connections and troubleshoot publishing issues when necessary.


Content Editing 

  • Edit raw video footage into engaging Instagram Reels and TikTok videos.
  • Create graphics and promotional assets for social media.
  • Ensure holidays, promotions, specials, limited-time offers, and seasonal campaigns are consistently promoted across participating concepts. 


Instagram Stories & Community Management 

  • Post Instagram Stories across all client accounts.
  • Keep Stories current with promotions, events, specials, and timely initiatives.
  • Repost high-quality user-generated content and tagged content when appropriate.
  • Monitor direct messages and customer inquiries across social platforms.
  • Respond to messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Review and accept high-quality collaboration requests, particularly influencer partnerships. 


Client Requests & Asset Organization 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming client requests related to social media.
  • Complete client requests accurately and within established timelines while ensuring all deliverables align with brand standards.
  • Collect promotional assets from client emails and chat threads.
  • Upload assets into the appropriate Google Drive folders.
  • Keep all social media folders organized and current.
  • Ensure promotional assets are accessible to the team.
  • Notify the social team of upcoming promotions, events, and important posting deadlines.


Team Coordination & Account Work 

  • Support account managers with tasks as needed. 
  • Oversee virtual assistants supporting social media tasks.
  • Review work for quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.
  • Identify gaps in content, promotions, or account activity and assign follow-up tasks.
  • Help keep workflows, assets, and responsibilities organized across the team.


Content Creation (20%)

  • Visit client locations to capture photo and video content.
  • Film engaging short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social platforms.
  • Capture content that reflects each client's brand, atmosphere, and current marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to execute content plans and campaign ideas.


Required Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in digital marketing, social media, or agency environment
  • Strong graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, or equivalent)
  • Experience editing short-form video
  • Knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging platforms
  • Excellent organization and time management
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities
  • Strong communication and professionalism


Preferred

  • Experience in hospitality, nightlife, or lifestyle brands
  • Influencer marketing or PR background
  • Paid social or ad experience
  • Photography or content capture experience
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Manager, scheduling tools, and analytics
