Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Director of Accounting (CPA required, 8 years’ experience) to lead a dynamic accounting team. This high-impact, fully remote leadership role focuses on strategic financial oversight, operational excellence, and delivering best-in-class client service.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a high-performing accounting team, driving performance and professional development.
Manage monthly and year-end financial closings in compliance with GAAP.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering strategic accounting advisory.
Perform technical reviews of financial statements, tax returns, and critical documents.
Develop and implement standardized accounting procedures to enhance efficiency.
Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and regulatory compliance (IRS, state).
Collaborate with leadership on financial planning, forecasting, and business strategy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
Active CPA license (required).
8 years of accounting and advisory experience.
4 years in a senior leadership role managing remote teams.
Experience with $2M–$5M businesses preferred.
Strong technical proficiency in GAAP, tax compliance, QuickBooks Online, Google Workspace, Zoom, and Slack.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Forward-thinking and proactive problem-solving approach.
