Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commercial Paint Estimator located in DFW Metro TX area. The Commercial Paint Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate, detailed project cost estimates, assessing materials and labor needs, and managing project bids for commercial painting projects. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing blueprints and specifications, collaborating with project managers and contractors, creating budgets, and ensuring project proposals meet client requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Construction Estimating, including the ability to analyze blueprints and project specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Proficiency in Budgeting and financial management to create, monitor, and adjust project cost plans.
- Knowledge and experience in commercial painting projects, particularly in areas such as Roofing and related construction processes.
- Exceptional Communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, project managers, and contractors, and convey project details clearly.
- Project Management abilities to oversee project timelines, coordinate resources, and ensure successful project completion.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to project-specific requirements.
- Previous experience in the construction or painting industry is highly desirable.
