We're seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to support commercial new construction projects throughout the region.
What You'll Estimate
• Commercial HVAC systems
• Plumbing systems
• Process piping
• Design-build and plan/spec projects
• Commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, education, government, and manufacturing facilities
Responsibilities
• Prepare accurate and competitive mechanical estimates
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and detailed cost analysis
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Participate in preconstruction planning and value engineering discussions
• Identify opportunities to improve constructability and reduce total project cost
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, and operations teams throughout the estimating process
What We're Looking For
• Commercial mechanical estimating experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems
• Experience with design-build and negotiated work is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
