Chief / Senior Drywall Estimator
Location: Springfield, MA
The Opportunity
Solid Rock Recruiting is partnered with a well-established commercial drywall contractor in the Springfield, MA market that is looking to bring on a Chief / Senior Estimator to lead their preconstruction efforts.
This is a high-impact role for someone who not only understands the numbers, but knows how to build strategy, lead estimating efforts, and drive profitable work.
You won’t be just another estimator. You will be the person helping shape what work the company goes after and how it wins it.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead all estimating efforts for commercial drywall and interiors projects.
- Review drawings, specs, and bid documents to develop accurate and competitive estimates.
- Build and oversee detailed proposals and ensure complete scope coverage.
- Manage bid strategy, pricing approach, and risk analysis.
- Work closely with ownership and operations to align estimating with company goals.
- Mentor and support junior estimators or team members as needed.
- Stay current on labor, material, and market conditions to maintain a competitive edge.

- Strong attention to detail with a strategic mindset.
- Experience with estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff, QuickBid, or similar
