Job Overview
The Safety Prequalification & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for managing and completing contractor safety prequalification packages, customer-specific safety requirements, and safety documentation submissions.
This role ensures accurate and timely entry of company information into third-party safety and compliance portals while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
The coordinator must understand safety terminology, compliance standards, and customer requirements, and work closely with internal teams to gather and submit required documentation.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidential information are essential for success in this role.
Essential Job Functions
- Complete and manage contractor safety prequalification applications and renewals
- Support ongoing safety compliance initiatives and audits as needed
- Submit customer-specific safety documentation and compliance requirements
- Access and maintain information within third-party safety/compliance portals
- Review and interpret safety terminology, documentation, and compliance standards
- Coordinate with internal departments to collect required records and certifications
- Track submission deadlines and maintain organized compliance records
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in all documentation and communications
- Support ongoing safety compliance initiatives and audits as needed
Qualifications
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least three years of experience
- Experience with contractor prequalification or safety compliance systems
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly
- Familiarity with safety terminology, OSHA standards, and customer compliance requirements
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and/or may occasionally be located on a jobsite in a construction setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
