X-Ray Technician in Traverse City, MI

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years X-Ray experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact as an Imaging - X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist at a well-respected medical facility serving the Traverse City community. In this dynamic contract role lasting 13 weeks, you’ll play a key part in diagnostic imaging and patient care, utilizing advanced technology in a collaborative environment.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Mid-shift hours: 11:00am – 9:00pm
• Monday through Thursday

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with O-ARM technology strongly preferred
• Expertise in performing high-quality X-ray imaging
• Proven ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis
• Operate O-ARM imaging equipment confidently and safely
• Prepare and position patients for a variety of exams
• Maintain effective communication with healthcare providers and support staff
• Adhere to all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
• Ensure consistent documentation and maintain proper equipment function
