Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired in MO

A part-time opportunity for a qualified professional to provide specialized instruction to a 2nd-grade student with visual impairment. This role focuses on teaching foundational writing skills through a telehealth format, offering flexible virtual engagement that totals 2.5 hours per month. The position is designed to support an elementary-aged child in an educational setting with an emphasis on tailored, individualized guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver instructional support via telehealth to a 9-year-old visually impaired student.
• Develop and implement strategies to teach writing skills appropriate for a 2nd grader.

Qualifications And Experience

• Current certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) in Missouri is required.
