Join a vibrant imaging department as an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in vascular and general ultrasound procedures. This contract position is based in Concord, NC, offering 12-hour night shifts with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts every Friday through Sunday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Weekend and holiday work are required, with travelers covering approximately 75% of holidays. On-call duties include 3 to 7 consecutive call shifts every eighth week during weekend overnight hours.
Responsibilities include performing a wide range of ultrasound studies such as invasive procedures (paracentesis/thoracentesis), vascular exams (ABI/WBI/TBI, carotid, AVF mapping), general imaging (OB/GYN, small parts, soft tissue), and ultrasound-guided invasive procedures. The role supports inpatient, outpatient, observation, emergency, and rehab patients across a 373-bed hospital environment with robust imaging capabilities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine. You will work alongside an onsite radiologist team with daytime coverage seven days a week.

Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience; first-time travelers welcome
- Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Sonography
- BLS certification required
- Skilled in vascular and general ultrasound techniques, including invasive procedures
- Proficient with EPIC (EMR), Epic Radiant (RIS), and Philips iSite (PACS) systems
