Ultrasound Technologist in Fruita, CO

Join a womens health clinic dedicated to providing exceptional patient care with a full-time contract Ultrasound Technologist position based in Fruita, CO. This 26-week assignment offers a predictable daytime schedule, supporting work-life balance without nights or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive ultrasound procedures per provider orders and clinical protocols, specializing in OB/GYN and general imaging
• Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment; ensure calibration and functionality before each use
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment, including disinfecting equipment and restocking supplies after each patient
• Communicate ultrasound findings to referring providers promptly and manage follow-up for STAT results and patient inquiries
• Accurately document and transfer images and patient information, including coordination with Virtual Radiology for after-hours cases
• Support clinic workflow with excellent patient service and care
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years ultrasound technologist experience preferred, ideally within womens health or related settings
• Current ARDMS registration in one or more specialties: General, OB/GYN, and/or Vascular
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
