Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive ultrasound imaging including vascular, general, OB/GYN, and ultrasound-guided invasive procedures such as paracentesis and thoracentesis.
- Conduct specialized vascular studies including ABI, WBI, TBI, carotid, AVF mapping, and more.
- Provide imaging services to inpatient, outpatient, observation, emergency department, and onsite rehab patients.
- Collaborate with radiologists onsite daily for study review and patient care.
- Maintain proficiency with department EMR (Epic), RIS (Epic Radiant), and PACS (Philips iSite) systems.
- Uphold clinical and safety standards in a dynamic hospital environment.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in ultrasound technology with vascular imaging expertise.
- Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-S).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and participate in holiday schedules (travelers cover approximately 75% of holidays).
- Comfortable with call-back requirements and weekend coverage.
