Ultrasound Technologist | Crestwood, Kentucky

Seeking a skilled Ultrasound Vascular Sonographer with a focus on neurovascular imaging for a contract position in Crestwood, KY. This role offers the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations including neuro, trauma, stroke, inpatient, and outpatient cases, utilizing advanced imaging technology in a dynamic clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound imaging with an emphasis on neurovascular studies
• Operate equipment including Philips, GE, and Siemens ultrasound machines, Cerner EMR, and use IV pumps and medication dispensing systems as required
• Collaborate with receptionists, supervisors, and managers to optimize patient care and workflow
• Participate in weekend rotations, on-call shifts, and holiday coverage as scheduled
• Adhere to departmental protocols, including scrub color and badge access for secure parking
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in ultrasound vascular imaging
• Licensure required: KY state license, ARRT certification, and BLS certification mandatory
• Vascular Interpretation (VI) certification preferred but not required
• Ability to handle neurovascular-specific imaging with proficiency and attention to detail
  
  

Schedule & Orientation

• Weekend rotation varies based on unit need
• On-call duties as scheduled
• Holiday work contingent on unit requirements
• Approximately 2 weeks of unit orientation for familiarization, customized per experience level
