Travel X-Ray Technologist - Lowell, MA

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule:

• Weekdays: 9:00am–5:30pm, with every Thursday off
• Rotating weekends: 7:00am–3:30pm (every other weekend)
• Orientation available every Monday
• Required holiday coverage and possible overtime as staffing needs arise
• Potential to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, or overnights as required
• 30-minute break is mandatory during shifts

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification (or eligibility) in Radiography
• State licensure to practice as a Radiology Technologist
• Proficiency in diagnostic radiology, fluoroscopy, and operative imaging procedures
• Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to different schedules and respond effectively during high-volume periods

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiology procedures, including fluoroscopy and OR imaging
• Ensure proper patient identification and safety throughout all examinations
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and surgical teams as needed
• Adhere to infection control, quality assurance, and safety policies at all times
• Accurately document findings and patient records in accordance with hospital protocols
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and report malfunctions promptly
