A healthcare facility in Washington is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment specializing in general X-ray imaging. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a minimum of two years experience in radiologic technology, specifically with capabilities in emergency department (ED) imaging and surgery support. Candidates must hold an active ARRT (R) certification and a current Washington State Radiologic Technologist license at the time of application.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- Active ARRT (R) certification required
- Valid Washington State Radiologic Technologist license mandatory
- BLS certification
- Experience performing fluoroscopy, surgery (OR), ED X-rays, inpatient and portable imaging preferred
- Ability to handle around 30 imaging studies per day using GE and Siemens equipment
- Proficiency with McKesson and EPIC EMR/PACS systems is beneficial
- Must provide personal radiation badge (facility does not provide)
- No requirement to start IVs or float to other departments

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including general X-rays, fluoroscopy, and portable studies
- Support surgical and emergency department imaging needs
- Maintain quality control and safety practices in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely imaging services
Schedule:
- Shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, Saturday through Monday, with on-call duties as needed
- One-week orientation on weekdays during day shifts provided
- Scrubs provided by the facility (standard basic color)
