- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations following established protocols to obtain high-quality images.
- Ensure patient and staff safety throughout procedures by adhering to departmental policies and safety standards.
- Educate patients and their families before and after procedures to facilitate understanding and comfort.
- Evaluate the competency of colleagues as a preceptor, providing guidance and support during their training.
- Report findings and concerns promptly to Supervisors or Managers.
- Maintain proper operation and care of ultrasonic equipment.
- Proficiency in general ultrasound imaging techniques.
- Experience working as an Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer.
- Knowledge of safety protocols in ultrasound diagnostics.
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients and healthcare teams.
- Competency in patient screening and education.
- Prior experience as a preceptor is preferred but not required.
