Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on the West 4 Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) and Alternate Level of Care (ALC) Unit.
- Monitor and assess telemetry patients, ensuring timely interventions as needed.
- Accurately document patient information utilizing EPIC charting system.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery.
- Adapt to shift needs with flexible scheduling, including covering at least one holiday per contract.
- Work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, including 36 to 48 hours weekly, with weekend coverage (either 1 weekend shift per week or 2 every other weekend).
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing.
- Preferred 2 years recent MS/Tele experience for highly competitive candidates.
- Active New York State RN license and current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- For non-U.S. candidates, 2 years of U.S. clinical work experience is necessary.
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
