Travel Supervisor Critical Care Nurse in Arcata, CA

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years ICU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours

• 3x12-hour shifts available
• Both day and night positions

Responsibilities

• Oversee hospital operations as House Supervisor, ensuring quality patient care across multiple departments.
• Float between ER, ICU, and Med/Surg to provide coverage during meal breaks as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintaining open communication and effective workflow.
• Respond promptly to arising clinical concerns, supporting both patients and staff in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license (California)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; NRP strongly preferred
• Proven experience in ICU and as a clinical supervisor
• Recent negative TB screening (within 12 months prior to contract start)
• Strong critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills
