Schedule & Assignment Details:
- 13-week assignment
- 12-hour shifts (rotating – days or evenings)
- Weekend requirement: 3 shifts per 4-week schedule
- Holiday rotation required
- No call or floating requirements
- Unit-specific orientation provided
Qualifications:
- Current RN license
- Stepdown nursing experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with titrating drips (Heparin, insulin, Cardizem, amiodarone)
- Ability to read tele strips
- Willingness to disclose licensing history upon submission
- Royal blue scrubs required
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients with respiratory issues, chest pain, UTIs, AKI, and general weakness
- Maintain nurse-patient ratios of 1:3 (Stepdown) and 1:5–6 (Med Surg)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, utilizing RT equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen
- Participate in patient monitoring and documentation
- Work with two nurse aides and a house supervisor per shift
