Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum one year recent experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Strong ability to adapt to fast-paced, ever-changing healthcare environments
- Closely monitor patients with complex or changing conditions requiring intermediate care
- Assess, plan, and implement patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Administer medications and provide short-term interventions for acute patient needs
- Document all care provided in accordance with facility protocols
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and ongoing wellness plans
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies
