This travel position involves providing essential speech-language services to pediatric to young adult populations, with flexible caseload age from kindergarten through age 22, tailored to your preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language evaluations and therapy to students with a variety of communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and educational goals.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school district and healthcare guidelines.
- Utilize teletherapy techniques when applicable to expand service reach and accessibility.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
- Experience working in school settings, healthcare, or pediatric populations preferred.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery models advantageous.
- Ability to manage a caseload ranging from 30 to 35 students.
Schedule and Location:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Based in the Machesney Park/Rockford area, with travel required within local schools.
