This opportunity is for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) seeking to contribute their expertise in an onsite school environment in Anchorage, Alaska. The position supports the 2026-2027 school year, providing services to approximately 47 students across two elementary school locations. This role is full-time with a standard 40-hour workweek, requiring 8.5 hours per day including a half-hour unpaid lunch break.

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Position Type: Onsite, full-time travel assignment within local schools

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services to students in elementary school settings.
  • Manage caseload of around 47 students spread over two schools.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.

Qualifications

  • Current Alaska certification and licensure for SLP or SLPA practice.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLPs.
  • Experience providing speech-language services in school environments.
  • Ability to work onsite exclusively; no virtual or telepractice options available.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Assignment Details

  • Duration: August 14, 2026, through May 27, 2027.
  • Two openings available.
  • Onsite work required; no voice-over-contracting (VOCO).
