Key Experience & Qualifications:
- Certification in surgical technology or completion of an accredited surgical technologist program
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in an operating room setting
- Proficiency assisting in a wide array of surgical specialties
- Solid understanding and practice of sterile technique and patient safety
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room with appropriate equipment, supplies, and sterile instruments
- Maintain a sterile field and assist surgeons and perioperative staff during complex procedures
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Safeguard patient well-being throughout the surgical process
- Participate in pre-op and post-op care of surgical equipment and rooms
