Qualifications & Experience
- Active SLP license (Maryland or valid for Maryland schools)
- Experience in a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged students
- Comfort providing speech therapy services for a broad range of elementary school needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting students’ speech and language development
- Ability to begin a maternity leave coverage assignment from August through December
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to an elementary caseload
- Conduct assessments and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Progress monitor and maintain thorough documentation
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
