Travel School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Madera, California

A full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Madera, CA, supporting a school setting within the local school district. This role is ideal for qualified professionals ready to manage a substantial caseload and contribute meaningfully to student speech services during the full school year.

Key Qualifications

• Valid SLP certification with 2 years of California school experience required
• Minimum of 1 year experience with Special Education Information System (SEIS)
• Experience supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and facilitators preferred
• Ability to manage high caseloads and multiple referrals effectively
• Candidates completing Clinical Fellowship (CFs) will be considered; SLPAs not eligible
• Bilingual skills are a plus to support diverse student needs
  
  

Location and Caseload:

• Position based onsite in Madera, CA
• Full-time schedule averaging 37.5 hours per week
• Single full-time opening at an elementary school with a caseload of 60-65 students, approximately 25-30 speech-only students
• Likely SLPA support available to assist with caseload
  
  

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to children in educational settings following district and state guidelines
• Supervise and collaborate with support staff and facilitators as applicable
• Maintain accurate records and data entry using SEIS
• Coordinate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to promote student success
