This opportunity is for two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to serve in a travel position within the Huntsville, AL school district. The assignment begins ASAP or at the start of the January semester and runs through May 22, 2026. The role involves providing speech therapy services in a PreK-8th grade school, sharing caseload responsibilities with another SLP in a collaborative manner.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver speech therapy services from Monday to Thursday, with Fridays dedicated to assessments.
- Manage a caseload currently totaling approximately 58 students, with support in caseload distribution between two therapists.
- Collaborate on case management and Individualized Education Program (IEP) documentation, utilizing platforms such as PowerSchool.
- Work with para support personnel who assist by bringing students to therapy sessions.
- Maintain compliance with speech therapy best practices and state regulations.
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
- Current licensure to practice speech therapy in Alabama.
- Experience working within school settings as well as delivering virtual therapy.
- Familiarity with Alabama state laws regarding educational and therapy services preferred.
- Ability to manage an active caseload and documentation effectively.

- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- School days begin at 7:45 a.m. CST
- Therapy services provided Monday through Thursday; Fridays reserved for student assessments
