This temporary assignment offers an opportunity for a licensed School Psychologist to support diverse student populations from PreK through 12th grade in a dynamic educational setting. The role spans the 2026-2027 academic year, from August 17, 2026, to May 20, 2027, with the possibility of traveling to multiple school sites within the district. Candidates will select appropriate schools to serve once onboarded, based on their preferences and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and testing to support student needs
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to develop tailored educational plans
- Collaborate closely with special education teachers and multidisciplinary teams (MDT)
- Provide on-site support exclusively during school hours, typically 8 hours daily or until work completion
- Travel to assigned schools as part of the role’s requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with PreK-12 student populations
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and writing reports aligned with educational standards
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to travel within the region to fulfill assignment duties
