Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift, including some weekends
Key Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist with relevant state licensure
- Expert in vents, CPAPs, ABGs, and high-flow oxygen therapies
- Demonstrated competency in diagnostic, interventional, therapeutic, and robotic bronchoscopy (ION/Intuitive)
- Experience with cryotherapy, cautery, fluoroscopy, stent placement, and fiducial placement
- Proficient in pulmonary function testing (CPET, DLCO, pre/post), metabolic cart testing
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and effective communication in a fast-paced environment
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced respiratory care using cutting-edge technology and best practices
- Perform and interpret diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional respiratory procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care thoroughly and accurately within Meditech
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and wear maroon or facility-provided scrubs
