Key Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive nursing care during structural heart and EP procedures, including pre-procedure assessment, administration of pre-medications, dysrhythmia monitoring and management, procedural documentation, mapping, and post-procedure patient education.
- Circulate and assist during cases by maintaining sterile fields, handling procedural supplies, scrubbing in as needed, and promptly retrieving necessary items to support smooth workflow.
- Collaborate with Radiologic Technologists by circulating cases and ensuring timely preparation and delivery of procedural supplies.
- Accurately record pertinent information on specified data sheets to maintain comprehensive patient records.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in interventional radiology or electrophysiology settings.
- Proven ability to monitor and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias.
- Skilled in sterile technique and procedural support.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
