Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Perform diagnostic imaging in a dynamic radiology department supporting general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and operating room procedures. This travel opportunity is located in Follansbee, WV, offering exposure to a variety of imaging modalities with a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide imaging services across 4 rooms: 3 general X-ray, 1 fluoroscopy, plus 2 portable units and 3 C-Arm systems.
- Float between general radiology, fluoroscopy, and OR areas, performing studies including general X-rays, orthopedic, GI, and cystoscopy procedures.
- Manage an average daily volume of approximately 110 studies utilizing Community Works EMR and Intellirad/Intelliconnect PACS.
- Work varied shifts including days (0600-1700), evenings, and potentially overnight as the sole technologist.
- Participate in a 5-shift orientation with an experienced preceptor.
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT Certification and WV X-ray Licensing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- WV CARES credential required before start.
- Ability to competently operate equipment including GE AMX portables, Del Medical, Siemens, Philips rooms, and OEC C-Arms.
- Must include a copy of an unexpired drivers license with application submissions.
- Willingness to float across all department modalities.
- Open to first-time travelers.
