Key Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Recent experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit required
- Proficient assessment and clinical judgment skills
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong interpersonal abilities for effective communication with patients and care teams
- Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Monitor and evaluate patient status, utilizing advanced assessment skills
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for optimum care planning
- Educate patients and families on care processes, discharge instructions, and health management
- Accurately document patient information and interventions in electronic health records
