Youll work in a 29-bed Emergency Department renowned as a chest pain and primary stroke center, managing approximately 120 patients daily. Schedule/Hours
- 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
- Three shifts per week
- Required up to 3 weekend nights per pay period (Friday-Sunday)
- Holiday shifts required as needed
- Current KS or Multistate RN license
- Minimum 1 year emergency department experience within the last 12 months (2 years preferred)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS & Conscious Sedation Competency required; TNCC preferred
- Comfortable managing inpatient boarders without floating outside the unit
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and positive attitude essential
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in a 29-bed ED
- Operate efficiently during high patient volume and rapidly changing conditions
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient outcomes
- Participate in required orientation, including hospital-specific training and virtual Epic system education
- 8 hours of paid non-billable orientation
- Bi-weekly pay periods
- Client may cancel one shift per pay period with a minimum 2-hour notice
