Schedule/Hours
- 12-hour night shifts
- 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Three shifts per week
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit, including monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing telemetry equipment
- Administer and manage cardiac drips such as Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, and Cardizem
- Assist with the initiation process for Tikosyn and Sotalol medications
- Utilize TR Band devices post-procedure with skill and clinical proficiency
- Float to all acute care units as needed to support patient care demands
- Participate in weekend rotations every other week and required holiday shifts, including Memorial Day and July 4th
- Engage in a thorough orientation program including training at multiple campuses and virtual Epic system training
- Current Registered Nurse license in Kansas
- BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
- Minimum of 1 year recent telemetry nursing experience; preference for candidates with 2-5 years
- Familiarity with cardiac drip medications and telemetry monitoring equipment
- Ability to perform multitasking in a dynamic acute care environment
- Initial orientation includes 8 hours of non-billable training at the main campus
- Bi-weekly pay periods with shift cancellation policies in place
- No on-call responsibilities required
