Qualifications
- Registered and certified as an Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)
- Current and valid state licensure as required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- At least one year of recent experience in interventional radiology/imaging
- Proficiency with imaging equipment and radiation safety protocols
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures under physician direction
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images for accurate patient assessment
- Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to all safety standards
- Document procedures, maintain patient records, and ensure compliance with facility protocols
- Prepare and administer contrast media and assist with catheterizations as required
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care
