Assignment Details:
- 13-week travel assignment
- 40 hours per week; 8-hour shifts
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4:00 am – 12:30 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform microtomy, special stains, and embedding
- Execute routine and complex histological procedures
- Ensure accuracy and high-quality standards in tissue preparation
- IHC (Immunohistochemistry) experience is a plus but not required
- Maintain meticulous records and adhere to laboratory safety protocols
- Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory team members
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a Histology Tech required
- Proficiency in primary duties: microtomy, special stains, and embedding
- IHC experience is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently during early morning shifts
- Candidates must reside over 50 miles from Charleston, SC
