Qualifications

• Current and valid CVOR Tech certification (or eligibility)
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting
• Proficiency with cardiac and vascular surgical instrumentation and sterile technique
• BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize, and maintain sterile supplies during cardiovascular procedures
• Assist the surgical team in complex heart and vascular surgeries
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced operating room equipment specific to cardiovascular care
• Document surgical activities and maintain compliance with facility protocols
• Ensure adherence to the highest standards of patient safety and infection control
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other interdisciplinary staff
