Travel CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN) - Atlanta, GA

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years CVOR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This 13-week travel assignment positions you at the center of innovative surgical care. You’ll work within a highly regarded CVOR unit alongside expert clinicians and surgical teams, expanding your professional network and encountering diverse leadership styles. Exposure to a broad range of cardiac, vascular, and complex surgical procedures will not only deepen your clinical expertise but will also enrich your résumé for future career growth.

Schedule

• 3x12 hour shifts—days
• 48-60 on-call hours each 4-week period (including weekends)
• Opportunity to select call days; restful on-call accommodations provided
• Some floating may be required between campuses (advance notice given; on-call remains at booked site)
  
  

Qualifications

• Active RN license (GA or compact)
• Minimum of 2 years’ CVOR experience, including cardiac and vascular procedures
• Strong endovascular skills required
• Experience in Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, and Robotic procedures highly preferred
• Flexibility to float to General OR if needed
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative surgical environment
• No local travelers—must be located outside a 50-mile radius
  
  

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care in CVOR and, if required, General OR
• Assist with a full range of cardiac, vascular, and endovascular cases
• Collaborate closely with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
• Uphold patient safety, compliance, and infection control standards
• Support the surgical staff across multiple hospital campuses as needed
