Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse | Fenton, Missouri

A registered nurse with specialized skills in cardiac invasive procedures is needed to provide expert care in an advanced catheterization lab setting. This daytime role involves circulating and monitoring cardiac interventional cath lab procedures while delivering comprehensive nursing care across all age groups. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment and care coordination skills, ensuring patient safety and comfort in collaboration with ancillary departments.

Responsibilities Include

• Circulate and monitor invasive cardiac catheterization procedures
• Perform direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate patient care activities with related departments
• Adhere to nursing standards, Missouri Nurse Practice Act, and organizational policies
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Support a positive, professional work environment within the cath lab
  
  

Qualifications

• Current RN license eligible or active in Missouri
• Minimum 2 years experience in cardiac invasive cath lab nursing
• BLS and ACLS certification from AHA (required)
• Preferred experience: 4 years in cardiac invasive cath lab
• Ability to float as required by facility
• Strict adherence to dress code (facility-provided scrubs only)
  
  

Schedule

• Days, 4x10 hour shifts (0630-1700)
• Weekend hours as needed (approximately every other weekend)
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• No call requirements
  
  

This assignment is a 13-week contract opportunity located in a facility recognized for safety and specialized cardiac care, including a Level 2 Trauma Center and Joint Commission certifications. Working in a state-of-the-art cath lab with EPIC EMR, you will contribute to a team committed to delivering exceptional care.
