This travel assignment will immerse you in a Level 1 Cardiac Care Designee and a high-volume hub for advanced cardiac procedures. The setting delivers exposure to leading-edge technology (IVUS, Shockwave, Rotablator, Impella, and more), a robust interdisciplinary team, and opportunities to refine your practice in complex cardiac and vascular interventions. Schedule:
- 4x10-hour shifts weekly
- Rotating call responsibilities
Desired Qualifications:
- Experienced in Cath Lab settings (strongly prefer candidates versed in RHC/LHC and complex coronary interventions)
- ICU or Emergency Department critical care background
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
- Structural heart experience a plus (not required)
- Familiarity with EPIC medical documentation systems
Key Duties:
- Deliver hands-on patient care during interventional cardiac procedures (RHC/LHC, PCI, TAVR, Watchman, ASD/VSD closure, Impella/IABP support, device placements)
- Collaborate in 3–4 person teams, contributing expertise alongside RNs and RCIS/other Tech specialists
- Participate in the seamless operation and troubleshooting of advanced cardiac equipment
- Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, advocacy, and privacy throughout the care continuum
