Telemetry Nurse (RN) in Lexington, KY

A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with a focus in Telemetry nursing, based in Lexington, KY. This contract position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, 23-bed medical-surgical unit specializing in orthopedics, spine, general surgery, and bariatric care, with some overflow from medicine. The role involves providing high-quality care to 10-20 post-operative patients daily, including cardiac and oxygen monitoring.

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience required.
• Experience caring for post-op surgical patients, especially in Orthopedics and Gastrointestinal surgeries, highly preferred.
• First-time travelers considered only if surgical post-op experience is met.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Competent in both medical and surgical nursing skillsets.
• Ability to float to other units as needed within nursing skillset.
• No acceptance of local travelers within 100 miles.
  
  

Shift Hours

• Night shift, 3 shifts per week
• 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
