An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled educator specializing in visual impairments to provide essential consultation services for a K-12 school setting. This contract position involves working part-time, dedicating 20-25 hours per week to support students with visual impairments and collaborate with teaching staff to enhance educational strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver consultation services tailored to students with visual impairments across K-12 grades
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide training and resources to educators on best practices for teaching visually impaired students
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed to ensure effective learning outcomes
- Assist in the assessment and evaluation of students’ vision-related needs
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
