Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for visually impaired students.
- Utilize specialized teaching techniques and assistive technologies to support student learning.
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to create an inclusive educational environment.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Provide training and guidance to staff and families on visual impairment accommodations and resources.
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired.
- Experience working directly with visually impaired students in an educational setting.
